Shalanda Hall, DPM
Shalanda Hall, DPM is a bright young podiatrist at the InStride Family Foot Care locations in Albemarle and Mint Hill/Charlotte.
As a native North Carolinian, hailing from Monroe, Dr. Hall is excited to practice in her home state. She is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Dr. Hall worked as a nurse for seven years prior to pursuing a career in podiatry. Dr. Hall earned her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Subsequently, she completed a comprehensive three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
Dr. Hall is knowledgeable in podiatric medicine and surgery. She specializes in foot and ankle pain and trauma, sports medicine, diabetic foot care, and limb salvage.
In her spare time, Dr. Hall enjoys volunteering, exercising, and spending time with her family.
Kevin McDonald, DPM
Kevin McDonald, DPM is the President of InStride Foot and Ankle Specialists, a group of more than fifty podiatrists located throughout the Carolinas. He has over thirty years of experience and spends his professional time at the Concord location.
The path to practicing medicine for Dr. McDonald started early. He graduated from Boston College in 1982 with degrees in mathematics and biology. He then earned his doctorate from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California, in 1986. Dr. McDonald trained at the University of Southern California Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, then completed his residency in foot and ankle surgery at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, California.
In addition to serving as the president of InStride Foot and Ankle Specialists, Dr. McDonald has been a past president of the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society, a former director of the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association, and is the long time coordinator of the NCFAS medical assistant education program.
Dr. McDonald’s certifications include the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatry. He is also a certified specialist in wound care and shockwave therapy.
Dr. McDonald is a past fellow at the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management, the American Professional Wound Care Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Erin M. Younce, DPM
Erin M. Younce, DPM, is a gifted podiatrist with InStride Family Foot Care, a premier podiatry practice with locations in Salisbury and Concord, North Carolina.
Double board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine as well as board-qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery, Dr. Younce has outstanding podiatric credentials. Additionally, as a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, she has the Certificate of Added Qualification in Amputation Prevention and Wound Care. She received her degree in podiatry from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio, and completed her 3-year residency in foot and ankle surgery at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
Among Dr. Younce’s areas of focus are diabetic and at-risk foot care, limb salvage, wound care, and forefoot reconstruction.
Dr. Erin Younce is married to Dr. Neil Younce, DPM, who is also with InStride Family Foot Care. They adore spending time with their new daughter, Ruth. Dr. Erin Younce is a former collegiate Division I long-distance runner.
Neil Younce, DPM
Neil Younce, DPM is a skilled podiatrist at the InStride Family Foot Care locations in Concord, Mint Hill/Charlotte, and Salisbury locations.
A native of Hickory, North Carolina, Dr. Younce graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008 with a degree in biology. He earned his doctorate from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio, in 2014. He completed his three years of residency in foot surgery with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain, Ohio.
Dr. Younce is double board-certified. He is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and foot surgery certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He believes in providing excellent care in a relaxed professional environment that has been described as “down home.”
Dr. Neil Younce is married to Dr. Erin Younce, DPM, who is also with InStride Family Foot Care.
